# Alice brand assets license

The files in this directory (the Alice rabbit mark, icons, logos, wordmark, card, social preview and their
renderings) and the Alice brand images in `docs/media/` are **not** licensed under the Apache License 2.0 that
covers the source code. Julia Klee keeps all rights to them.

## You may (no permission needed)

- Use them, unmodified, to **refer to or represent the Alice language**: in articles, talks, slides, videos,
  books, tutorials, documentation, websites, package listings, "built with Alice" badges, and links to the project.
- Use them for **non-commercial community** purposes about Alice (meetups, study groups, open-source projects that
  use or support Alice), as long as it does not suggest official endorsement.
- Resize them or place them on a solid background.

## You may not (without written permission from Julia Klee)

- **Commercial exploitation**: sell them or products bearing them (merchandise, prints, stickers, clothing, NFTs),
  or use them in paid products, services, advertising or branding other than to refer to Alice itself.
- Use them as, or as part of, the logo, name or branding of your own product, company or service.
- Modify, recolor, distort, animate or combine them into a new mark.
- Suggest that Julia Klee or the Alice project endorses you or your product.
- Train or fine-tune AI/ML models on them, or redistribute them in asset packs.

Forks of the source code may keep these files to refer to Alice, but must not present a fork under the Alice name
or logo. For anything else, ask: julia@supersoniclabs.ai.
